1. About Us

Caerphilly Art Society is a voluntary, not-for-profit art society based in Caerphilly, UK. The Society provides meetings, workshops, exhibitions and social events for artists aged 16 and over.

By using this website or purchasing membership, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

2. Membership

• Membership is open to individuals aged 16 and over.

• Annual membership runs from January to December of the relevant year.

• Reduced membership rates are available for under-25s and full-time students. Proof of eligibility will be required at first attendance.

• Membership benefits may change at the discretion of the Society.

3. Membership Fees and Payments

• Membership fees are published on the website and at Society meetings.

• Payments are accepted by bank transfer or cash on the day only, unless otherwise stated.

• When paying by bank transfer, members must include “Annual Fee” as the payment reference.

• Members are encouraged to email the Society to confirm payment, including their name.

4. Non-Refundable Fees

• All membership fees are non-refundable, including in cases of non-attendance, change of circumstances or early cancellation.

• Workshop, event and exhibition fees are also non-refundable unless explicitly stated otherwise.

5. Workshops and Events

• Workshop entry fees are £2 for members (to contribute towards refreshments) and £7 for guests, unless otherwise stated.

• Entry fees include one raffle ticket, with the prize draw taking place on the day.

• The Society reserves the right to amend, reschedule or cancel events where necessary.

6. Exhibitions and Artwork

• Eligibility to exhibit is subject to current membership and exhibition guidelines.

• The Society reserves the right to select, curate and display works submitted for exhibitions.

• Members advertising or selling artwork via the website or Society social media may be subject to additional fees or conditions, which will be clearly communicated.

7. Website Content and Photography

• Photographs taken at meetings, workshops or events may be used on the website and Caerphilly Art Society social media for promotional purposes.

• If you do not wish to appear in photographs, please inform a committee member at the event.

8. Cookies

• This website uses cookies to ensure it functions correctly and to improve user experience.

• Cookies do not collect personal information that can identify you directly.
